Rockingham Peel Group is part of the South Metropolitan Health Service, one of the fastest growing health services in Western Australia and comprises two hospital campuses, Rockingham General Hospital and Murray District Hospital, in addition to community and mental health services across Peel, Rockingham and Kwinana.
In this role you will lead the multidisciplinary team to provide specialist obstetric and gynaecological services to patients. You will be required to promote patient safety and quality of care and provide leadership, orientation, training, supervision, and education, where relevant, for doctors in training, Health Service Medical Practitioners, and other health workers. In collaboration with the Head of Department and other Consultants, you will work to achieve national, state and South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) performance standards and targets. You will also work within the scope of clinical practice as defined and recommended by the SMHS Area Medical Credentialing Committee.
