Position Details: Full time $127,006 to $135,841 p.a. (commensurate with skills and experience) plus superannuationContract until December 2026, with possible extensionIn or near Bairnsdale, Sale, Maffra or Latrobe Valley, Victoria — work from home with regular in-person visits to schoolsThis role will work with both primary and secondary schools. Purpose of the Role: The Consultant, Implementation (Schools) will play an important role in facilitating and supporting implementation projects with school and system partners. They are responsible for fostering trusting and respectful relationships with participating schools and systems; providing direct support and guidance to build implementation capability and improve teaching practice; and working alongside schools, systems and AERO staff to draw overall learnings about implementation of evidence-based practices.
Accountabilities: Regularly meet with participating schools and systems to provide support and guidance on the implementation of evidence-based practices.Provide implementation consultancy, professional learning and coaching for teachers, school leaders and system staff.Facilitate implementation support to ensure high-quality support is provided.Continually monitor and document implementation and progress in participating schools and systems.Contribute to the development and sharing of overall learnings from implementation projects.Work with the Manager, Implementation (Schools) and Senior Consultants to carry out other activities needed for the success of implementation projects.Meet standards of responsible and ethical practice in working with schools.Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Working with Children's Check issued by a relevant jurisdiction.Valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation for partner visits.Knowledge and Experience: Experience as a leading (highly skilled) teacher or school leader.Experience leading staff or project teams through change initiatives within schools.Experience in coaching or mentoring, delivering quality professional learning and applying evidence-based teaching practices.Knowledge of, and experience in, implementation science and/or school improvement.Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for establishing positive working relationships.Excellent written skills for internal and external communications.Capacity to take initiative, work with ambiguity, incorporate feedback and develop strategies to prevent or overcome issues.If you require any additional information or have technical difficulties applying, please contact:******.
