Consultant Gig #707-Sydney-Retail Banking-Business Analyst Cost OptimisationJob DescriptionClientA new ICG Client, in the Retail Banking Sector, based in Sydney and Melbourne has commenced a cost optimisation program, initially focusing on Procurement.RoleThe Analyst will be working with a Partner and two other Analysts on confirming initial opportunities in procurement and sizing the most material opportunities.
This will then progress to defining, scoping, and completing a detailed workplan and steps required for 2-3 major initiatives that the Analyst will be accountable for delivering.Successful candidates will have the following experience:Experience with a Big 4 consulting firm or equivalent industry experienceA detailed understanding of the Retail Banking sector in AustraliaExperience in procurement in major organisationsThe ability to analyse procurement arrangements and negotiate with 3rd parties to optimise the client's cost positionStrong spoken and written communication skills (particularly PowerPoint)The ability to synthesise complex and disparate information into insights and recommended actionsThe analyst will be responsible for:Confirming and sizing cost opportunities in the procurement areaDeveloping detailed definition, scope, and implementation plans for a number of those opportunitiesWorking with the client to deliver the cost savings identifiedLogistics, Location & RateLogistics: Immediate startLocation: SydneyRates: Gross daily rate is $1,500Close date: No later than Thursday 15th October, 5pm AEDT#J-18808-Ljbffr
