Consultant Emergency

Your RoleWe have an opportunity for Emergency Consultants to join the team on either full time, part time or casual contracts. The successful candidate will provide acute Medical Services within the Emergency Department at SJG Murdoch.The PositionDirect patient care in the Emergency Department.Supervision of other clinical, nursing and student staff in Emergency.Record keeping including appropriate certificates and discharge planning.Liaison with specialist and general medical practitioners.Available to review any patient causing concern and/or nursing staff unable to contact bed card doctor.Available to review patients in the Emergency Observation Unit who have been admitted under the Emergency Department Bed Card.Available when on call to attend the Emergency Department within 30 minutes of notification.Actively seeks opportunities for further professional development. Maintains continuing Medical Education with the College of Emergency Medicine.
