Northern Adelaide Local Health Network – Lyell McEwin and Modbury Hospitals – Elizabeth Vale and ModburyTotal Indicative Remuneration: $403,863 - $748,105 p.a.
(pro rata) – MD2 – Ongoing Full-Time or Part-Time (Multiple Positions) About the Role:In this role, you will be actively involved in the teaching of trainee medical officers, interns and medical students.
Furthermore, you will participate in clinical audit and quality, safety and clinical risk management activities, as well as research and continuous medical education activities.NALHN encompasses a diverse and expanding range of anaesthesia services to a growing population in Northern Adelaide.Our work is challenging and rewarding with a broad range of services including:• A 24-hour emergency anaesthesia service.• Major surgery including colorectal, upper GI, liver, urology, breast-endocrine and gynaecology.• Major orthopaedics including arthroplasty, revision surgery and trauma.• Busy obstetric unit with over 3000 deliveries/year and a 24-hour epidural service.• Other surgical specialities include paediatrics, ENT, plastics, ophthalmology, ECT, gastroenterology and bronchoscopy.• 24-hour acute pain service with daily rounds.• Expanding development in peri-op medicine.• Ongoing QI, audit, research and CME activities.To be eligible for this position, you must hold a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
Appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration; or another qualification as defined in the SA Medical Officers Award.The Total Indicative Remuneration figure is calculated taking into account base salary, leave loading and superannuation as well as managerial allowances, professional development or any other allowances where appropriate.About You:Are you a dedicated, compassionate and enthusiastic Anaesthetist looking for an opportunity to join a dynamic, growing healthcare network where you will be part of a supportive team delivering high quality care to the community?
