This role offers an exceptional opportunity to join the Australian Subsidiary of a fast-growing Real Estate developer based in Singapore that is primarily focused on property development, property investment, and hotel ownership.
Over the years, the Group has developed a portfolio of strategically located real estate assets across the Asia Pacific region and has established a reputation for delivering high quality and iconic developments.
They currently own two 5-Star Hotel properties in Australia and are redeveloping two iconic Hotels in Melbourne and Perth.
This is a hands-on role that will report to a Senior PM and will focus on overseeing Contractors and holding them accountable for quality and timelines during the ongoing Construction phase of this property.
Some of the core duties include:
Defining & identifying project scope based on client brief. Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders based on the project's deliverables and stakeholders' requirements. Preparing project schedule proposals based on project brief including interfacing with internal stakeholders on program deliverables. Participating in the design process to achieve the client's requirements and manage expectations. Providing technical advice during project design and development stage for risk avoidance and program preparation. Conducting project risk assessment and mitigation measures based on project requirements. Developing working relationships, problem-solving, and driving projects to successful completion. Reviewing project schedule, specifications, scheduling, cost-saving measures, discrepancies, and potential construction problems during pre-tender stage. Managing project timelines, risks, and regular reporting on project status. Ensuring quality control and adherence to project specifications. Co-chairing project meetings with consultants and contractors. Executing other roles and duties as assigned by senior management. Managing the project's head contractor. Participating and contributing in design consultants and design coordination meetings. Participating in planning approval pathways and proposing the best suitable approach for these. Participating in contract negotiations where required. Project supervision and timeline management to ensure program certainty. Actively anticipating, analyzing, and minimizing risk. Project closeout and handover of completed projects to stakeholders. Attending to defects works during defects liability period. To be successful, you must have at least 3 years of local construction experience as a site supervisor or construction supervisor.
