Job DescriptionFast Scaff is a North West Queensland based, Indigenous-owned and operated scaffolding company.
We specialise in fixed processing plant maintenance for the mining and gas industry.
Our team has an extensive history of facilitating major shut-downs, operating seven days a week.
We are looking for a full-time Construction Project Manager to join our growing team based in Mt Isa, QLD.
This position will supervise all onsite construction activity.
You will ensure the construction program is being met, manage OH&S and QA, and work closely with the Project Manager and QA Manager to resolve any technical construction/design issues while overseeing every aspect of planning and executing scaffold installations.
Hours: Full time - 38 hours/week Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 per annum + Superannuation Location: Mt Isa, QLD
Requirements: A good understanding of Australian Standards in relation to the scaffolding industry.In-depth knowledge of civil construction methods, regulations, and industry best practices.Strong leadership abilities with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.Proven experience in scaffolding or project management.Previous mining or heavy industry experience will be highly regarded.Flexibility for both in-town work and travel to mine sites across Queensland.White Card and Driver Licence.Responsibilities: Managing project timelines, controlling budgets, and ensuring Fast Scaff meets the highest safety standards.Coordinating labor resources, procurement, and delivery of materials, plant, and equipment.Supervision and inspection of projects; daily communication with upper management.Coordinate and administer construction activities to ensure that projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs, and specifications.Write, review, and present construction methods to relevant stakeholders that are in line with project requirements.Monitor construction progress for adherence to program and report to the Site Manager or Project Manager.Interpret designs for implementation in construction projects.Assist in running crews on major mine sites, predominantly in North West Queensland.Undertake quantitative and qualitative safety, environment, and quality risk assessments to ensure acceptable quality of structures.Collaborate closely with clients, engineers, and the on-site crew to deliver scaffolding solutions that align with regulatory and project requirements.If you are a results-oriented professional with a passion for civil construction and a proven track record of successful project delivery, we encourage you to apply.
