About The Role Our team is looking to expand with an additional Project Manager to our construction team. The successful candidate will join our team of project managers, estimators, office administration staff, trades, and liaise with senior management. At Kardan we work closely with multiple government agencies to produce projects that benefit the areas we service.
We are looking for a strong communicator to oversee and deliver a diverse range of projects. We are seeking someone who can prioritise solutions, maintain composure during challenging situations, and foster collaboration among our internal team, consultants, and subcontractors.
We emphasise on client satisfaction and take proactive steps to suggest and implement improvements while ensuring the highest safety standards are maintained.
Responsibilities Directly reporting to the Construction Manager Plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish Organise and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner Coordinating labour resources, and procurement and delivery of materials, plant and equipment All works are compliant with Australian Standards, OHS & WHS procedures Pricing and budget preparation Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, site supervisors, and all the trades staff Build and maintain rapport with clients Attend meetings with Construction GM and site supervisors Excellent time management and priorisation skills Qualifications and Experience The ideal candidate should have comprehensive knowledge of the construction industry including Australian OH&S legislation, and confident in managing multiple projects.
Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Construction Management, or similar would be highly regarded Technical skills in construction industry – highly desirable Valid driver's license White Card (Construction Induction Card) Ability to pass a Police Integrity Check First Aid certificate is preferred Application Salary is negotiable and dependent on level of skill and experience. The salary range is between $100,000 - $120,000.
