Role Overview: TP Human Capital is partnering with Palm Island Council to recruit a Construction Project Coordinator to oversee residential building projects in a standard hour role based remotely.
This contractual role is for an initial 6 months, with the possibility of extension.
The coordinator will ensure all work is completed within scope, budget, and timelines, managing milestones and engaging with contractors throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:Oversee the delivery of multiple residential building projects, ensuring compliance with scope, budget, and timelines.Monitor progress on current projects, including five residential properties and additional builds.Engage with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and adherence to project specifications.Address any project-related issues that arise, adjusting plans as necessary to keep projects on track.Ensure all work complies with building codes, standards, and safety regulations.Resolve construction-related disputes and issues during project execution.Manage day-to-day project tasks and ensure project deliverables are met on time.Prepare regular progress reports for stakeholders.Coordinate inspections and approvals with building inspectors and regulatory authorities.Foster positive relationships with contractors, suppliers, and the Indigenous community to support project success.Provide support to construction supervisors as needed.Essential Skills and Experience:Work schedule: Monday to Friday.Accommodation will be provided.Relevant experience in construction project coordination.Strong organizational and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and project management practices.
