Our client is a well-known name in the Illawarra landscape construction world.
They currently employ 30-40 staff across the business, including Project Managers, Foremen, Tradespeople, Horticulturists and Office personnel.
They have a phenomenal reputation for their high-quality and award-winning portfolio of projects throughout the South Coast and Canberra, servicing Developers, Builders, Civil contractors and Local Councils.
They take on projects anywhere up to $5 million including the landscape packages on sports facilities, universities, multi-residential apartments, shopping centers, hospitals, subdivisions, park and playgrounds.
The Opportunity
With more and more large projects being signed off this year and in 2025, our client is looking to make a new major hire by introducing a new Construction Manager to oversee all construction activities in the business.
A very rare and unique opening for an ambitious individual to oversee the division and to focus on pre-construction through to project delivery.
You will operate autonomously but will have continual one-on-one support from the Managing Director and senior management, build relationships with your in-house team and clients, and represent the brand as a key member.
The Role
Oversee bid and tender process Drive growth strategies Drive a positive company culture Work in coalition with your Project Managers Implement safety, quality compliance processes Set budgets and forecasts Liaise and consult with clients Recruit key staff members Report into the General Manager The Requirements
3-5 years as a senior manager in the landscape construction industry Certificate III in Landscape Construction OR Horticulture Relevant tertiary qualification in construction/engineering (Bonus) Experience in the NSW market (Preferred) To Apply
