About Us:
Established in 2001, Guidera O'Connor is a privately owned and respected Design and Construct contractor with a successful track record delivering Water and Wastewater treatment projects to the Australian Water Industry. Our clients include SA Water, Water Corporation, Sydney Water, and SEQ Water.
About the Role:
As part of our growth, we seek a Construction Manager. This is a permanent, full-time role, based on site at various locations around WA. This role involves a combination of office and site-based activities with travel to regional areas in WA.
Working with the Project Managers, in-house Design Team, Project Engineers, Site Supervisors, and Trades staff, the Construction Manager is responsible for leading the delivery of projects from concept to handover in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner, with a quality focus and adherence to company policy, customer expectations, and project specifications. The Construction Manager may lead their own projects or report to a Project Manager as a key resource on larger projects.
As our ideal candidate, you will: Have extensive experience in a similar role in construction, preferably in the water industry.Have solid construction industry knowledge.Hold a Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor qualification.Have a Diploma in Project or Construction Management.Have a Senior First Aid Certificate and a White Card – General Construction Industry Training Card.Have the ability to effectively lead and manage teams while managing competing priorities and meeting strict deadlines.Be self-motivated with strong communication skills.Have well-developed problem-solving skills.Have a strong safety and quality focus.Have the ability to influence others while making sound decisions.Value our Guiding Principles of Care, Integrity, Passion, Respect, and Future.About our Benefits:
