We're looking for a highly experienced Construction Manager to join a leading developer renowned for their successful and innovative projects. This is a rare opportunity for an individual with Tier 2 local experience to take on a leadership role overseeing large-scale developments across the ACT.
Tier 2 local experience in construction management is essential, ideally within residential and mixed-use developments. Proven experience managing large-scale projects from groundworks to completion. Strong understanding of WHS legislation, safety practices, and quality control standards.
Salary: $200K - $230K (Negotiable) + Super + Annual Performance Bonus + Vehicle Allowance and Tools of the Trade.

About the Role As the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for leading the on-site delivery of major residential and mixed-use developments in the ACT. This is a pivotal role where you will manage the day-to-day construction operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. Your leadership will be key to the success of the projects, as you manage teams, contractors, and key stakeholders through all stages of development.
Key Responsibilities for the Role Oversee all aspects of the construction phase for large-scale residential developments.Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, managing resources and contractors effectively.Work closely with the Project Manager to develop and monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality control.Coordinate and lead the construction team, ensuring they work efficiently and adhere to safety and quality standards.Manage the day-to-day operations of subcontractors, ensuring they meet project milestones and comply with safety standards.Liaise with local authorities and other stakeholders to facilitate approvals, ensure compliance, and resolve any issues that arise during construction.Maintain a strong focus on health and safety, ensuring compliance with WHS legislation and company safety protocols.Prepare progress reports and keep senior management updated on the project status, including any challenges and solutions.Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing construction team that fosters collaboration and excellence.Skills & Experience Tier 2 local experience in construction management is essential, ideally within residential and mixed-use developments.Proven experience managing large-scale projects from groundworks to completion.Strong understanding of WHS legislation, safety practices, and quality control standards.Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources efficiently.Excellent leadership skills, with experience managing and mentoring teams.Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with contractors, stakeholders, and government agencies.Experience in preparing and presenting progress reports to senior management.Rewards and Benefits This role offers a competitive salary package of $200K - $230K (including super), vehicle allowance, and tools of the trade.
