The Firm & The Role
Our client is a leading national law firm. Due to a strong pipeline of work, the firm is looking to recruit a lawyer for their construction team at the 1 to 4 year pae level. The firm and this particular team acts for:

Construction companies
Property developers
Engineering companies
Environment consultancies
Energy & renewable companies
Government bodies
Major corporations (local and international) including ASX-listed companies

The work will be litigation focused e.g complex engineering disputes, disputes in the renewables space, building disputes, property development disputes. This is a 'hands on' role where you will be at the coal face but also a role where you will be mentored and developed by an accessible partner. This construction team has a depth and breadth of construction experience that makes them a 'go to' team for high profile construction clients.
About You
You will have at least 1 to 4 years in the area of construction law, from a reputable law firm or in-house environment OR you will have general disputes experience or defendant insurance experience.

Interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
Ability to work independently, but within a team-focused environment
Passion, drive and enthusiasm
