Conservation Employee - Supervisor or Crew Leader (Minangu)Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions - $66-74k – Geraldton WAWe are currently seeking a Conservation Employee - Supervisor or Crew Leader (Minangu) to join the Murchison District team.Under the direction of the Senior Works Coordinator, you will:Supervise and lead Minangu Aboriginal Rangers, Conservation Employees and contractors in a range of activities related to the department's works programs including asset maintenance, fire management, conservation, parks and visitor services (PVS) and joint management including remote and overnight work.Provide specialist construction advice, quality control / assurance, planning to implement construction and maintenance works in the Murchison District / Midwest Region.Develop, plan, organise, and implement on ground conservation and PVS projects throughout the Murchison District.Undertake an active role in incident and fire management activities.Support identification of training needs for employees to ensure safe and effective works.About UsDBCA, one of Western Australia's largest state government agencies, provides exciting and challenging career opportunities in biodiversity conservation and park and natural resource management.
