The role Two 12-month maximum term opportunities are now available in South East Water's Connections Team! If you're passionate about providing high quality customer support to customers, through online, email and phone communication, then this is the perfect role for you! 
The primary role of the Connections Support Officer role at South East Water is to investigate and process applications relating to Sewer, Drinking and Recycled Water servicing conditions and to provide expertise and direction to customers to ensure the protection of South East Water assets under the current water and sewer servicing guidelines. The Connections Support Officer will contribute to processing multiple different application types including auditing a percentage of automated and non-automated applications.
 
Key responsibilities will include:
Responsibility for the investigation of manual Single Residential Connection applications, including identifying and obtaining quotes to carry our Minor Sewer Alterations Contributing to processing non automated applications including Check Meter Agreements, Commercial Drain Alterations, Size Depth and Offsets and Property Sewer Plans. Providing technical advice to customers and other business areas relating to Sewer & Water servicing requirements, asset protection. Auditing percentage of automated and non-automation applications Management of online functions, including tapping and meter bookings. Who are you? To be successful in this position, you will have the below qualifications, skills and experience in a similar role:
Excellent communication skills both written and oral. Detailed knowledge of the Sewer Servicing Guidelines and Water & Metering Guidelines. Knowledge of Water (Estimation and Sewerage) Regulations 2014 along with the design and /or construction of water and sewerage facilities. Sound analytical and computer skills Experience working within stringent time constraints. What's in it for you?
