Purpose As our Conference & Events Coordinator, you will assist with the smooth and profitable running of the Conference & Events Department. The role involves enquiry handling, proactive and reactive sales, and collaborating with clients, suppliers, colleagues, and management to create successful corporate events and experiences.
This role is flexible and can be offered as a part time position. Primary Responsibilities Collaborate closely with clients throughout the entire event process, from initial planning, site inspections, event coordination, to post-event follow-upCoordinate logistics, including equipment, contractors, resources, and personnel involved in and supporting the eventProactively address and resolve any issues that may arise during the eventMaximise revenue through pro-active sales techniquesAssist in event operations, when requiredSkills and Experience Past experience in a similar role, demonstrated precision in coordination and providing exceptional customer service while exceeding expectationsProficient in negotiating with suppliers, vendors, and clients to establish favourable terms that benefit all parties involvedYou foster a can-do approach with impeccable attention to detail and exceptional time management skillsPrevious operational experience in a dynamic food and beverage operation and proficiency in iVvy is highly regardedFlexible availability to accommodate various shifts, including mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays as requiredAt Accor, we welcome you as you are.
