About The Role
This role fulfils the asset condition and performance requirements of various infrastructure asset types by balancing cost, risk and performance to maximise the asset utilisation. This will include:
Advise asset condition and performance to develop and prioritise 10 year capital renewal and upgrade plan for various infrastructure asset types. Develop condition assessment program for various infrastructure asset types and predict either the probability of failure or the remaining lives of assets. Develop condition models based on statistical techniques to predict the asset degradation curves. About You
Our ideal candidate will have:
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering and eligibility for membership of the Institution of Engineers Australia. Current "C" class driver's licence. Extensive knowledge and experience in performing analysis in various information technology systems including the Microsoft Office suite, GIS, and Business Management Systems. 5 - 10 years of experience as condition assessment engineer or related roles. Highly demonstrated experience in preparing ten-year renewal and upgrade capital works plan. Highly demonstrated experience in performing physical condition assessment such as vibration analysis, ultra sonic analysis, thermography imaging, etc. Extensive knowledge of relevant legislation, codes and guidelines relating to the QLD Local Government Act and appropriate asset management standards.
