We are currently recruiting for an experienced Concreter to join a respected construction company in Perth.
This is a casual/vacation position for an ongoing project (4 to 6 weeks), working Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
The successful candidate will be responsible for concrete pouring, formwork installation, and minor steel fixing.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a company that prioritises professional development and career growth.DescriptionAs a Concreter, you will be expected to carry out the following duties:Concrete Pouring: You will be responsible for executing concrete pours for various construction projects, ensuring that work is completed to the highest standards and specifications.Formwork: You will strip, set up, and install formwork as required for concrete pours.
This includes ensuring formwork is correctly aligned, safe, and secure.Minor Steel Fixing: Occasionally, you may be required to assist with minor steel fixing as part of the concrete preparation.Daily Concrete Production: Demonstrating experience in pouring up to 50 lineal meters of concrete per day, you will manage the daily demands of concrete work, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.Worksite Safety: You will adhere to all health and safety regulations, including PPE usage, and actively participate in maintaining a safe work environment for the team.Team Collaboration: Work alongside other construction professionals to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.ProfileThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications, skills, and experience: Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in concreting, with a solid background in pouring, formwork, and minor steel fixing.Physical Stamina: Ability to perform manual tasks and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.Team-Oriented: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to follow technical specifications, drawings, and safety standards.Safety Knowledge: Knowledge of construction site safety procedures and the ability to operate in a safe manner at all times.Reliable and Punctual: Ability to manage time efficiently and arrive at work consistently and on time.Qualifications: Relevant trade qualifications (desirable but not essential).Job Offer Flexible Working Conditions: Casual role with consistent hours Monday to Friday, 7 AM - 3 PM for the nex 4 to 6 weeksCompetitive Pay: Attractive hourly rate with opportunities for overtime.Exciting Projects: Engage in diverse and high-profile construction projects that will enhance your skills.
