Gladstone Regional Council – Gladstone QLDCouncil is seeking to appoint a permanent full-time Concreter to contribute to Council's success.Enjoy a healthy work-life balance on a 9 day fortnight roster – with your team currently trialling an 8 day fortnight roster until 2026Work outdoors throughout the Gladstone regionBased at Gladstone DepotAbout the RoleThe purpose of this position is to support Council's direction by efficiently undertaking concrete formsetting, concreting, repairs and new construction activities and undertaking a wide range of maintenance, repair and improvement tasks of Council's civil infrastructure within the Gladstone Region.You will bring:Relevant trade qualification and/or equivalent level of expertise and experience in concreting and formsetting, including concrete finishing.Demonstrated labouring skills to carry out maintenance activities on a daily basis.Experience and competency operating under a current Medium Rigid (MR) license.Basic keyboard skills and experience and competency using technical devices.Current Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card).Please be advised that the preferred candidate for this position, as a condition of employment, may be required to complete a criminal history check, a pre-employment medical or a skills assessment.Council is committed to connecting with the Gladstone Regional community which values diversity and inclusion and encourages you to bring your whole self to work.
