About the role
We are seeking an experienced Concrete Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Southern Earth Landscaping in Lonsdale, SA.
As our Concrete Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating all concrete-related activities on our construction sites.
This full-time position requires a hands-on approach and the ability to lead a team to deliver high-quality results.
As we are a southern based company, this position would best be suited to applicants who live in the southern suburbs and enjoy working locally with minimum travel.
What you'll be doing
Supervising and coordinating works from start to finish, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Interpreting and executing construction plans and specifications related to concrete work.
Monitoring the progress of concrete projects and identifying and resolving any issues that arise.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and best practices.
Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
Being involved in the labor of formwork, meshing, concrete pours, screeding & finishing.
Providing on-site training and mentoring to less experienced concrete workers.
Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to concrete work.
What we're looking for
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Concreter or Concrete Supervisor.
Specializing in residential and decorative concrete works.
Strong knowledge of concrete construction techniques, materials, and equipment.
Experienced in meshing, concrete pours, screeding, finishing.
(Formwork not essential but desirable).
Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in the use of relevant construction software and technology.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in concrete construction or related fields.
