The role: Compounding Team Lead We have a new and rare opportunity for a highly driven and motivated individual with strong leadership capabilities to join our team based in our Coorparoo facility in a Full Time, Permanent position. Reporting to the Compounding Manager, you will be accountable for building and leading a high performing team to meet business and customer requirements.
Working with our management team, you will be responsible for the overall leadership of our Compounding team, overseeing the production and supporting the Compounding Manager to meet quality, operational and business metrics.
Your key focus for this role will include people management, production efficiency, customer satisfaction, productivity improvement as well as supporting and maintaining quality standards.
Shift: Monday to Friday. Flexibility required depending on business requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Driving the implementation of company initiatives and embedding them into the team cultureManagement of staff resourcesManagement of staff time and attendance systems as well as performance reviews and career developmentRecruitment of staffOversight of production flow by liaising with appropriate coordinatorsDrive process improvement and efficiency programsEnsure quality standards and procedures are being maintainedParticipate and contribute to site audits, where appropriateCustomer relationship management – directly with customers as well as liaison with Sales and Marketing to manage relationshipsOversight of delivery issue resolutionEssential Skills and Qualifications: Relevant experience in Goods ManufacturingDemonstrated sound leadership qualities and/or people management experienceProven effective communication skillsProven ability to make timely decisions based on sound professional judgement and consideration of risksDesirable Skills and Qualifications: Experience in, or understanding of the health sectorKnowledge of aseptic compounding/pharmaceutical manufacturingDemonstrated ability to build effective relationships, internal and externalBusiness AcumenKnowledge of the Code of Good Manufacturing PracticeApply today for a career that matters!
