Expression of Interest: Compounding Assistant/Compounding Technician We are seeking expressions of interest for multiple positions within our compounding team. Based in Canning Vale, these roles offer on-site training with great opportunities to develop your career in a stable industry.

Our Operational hours are from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm and there will be multiple shifts available in between those times. The main purpose of this role is to support the aseptic production process manufacturing Chemotherapy, Antibiotics and Nutritional products for hospitals throughout Australia.
Candidates who are looking to start their career in pharmaceuticals are encouraged to apply as full training will be provided. Duties and Responsibilities: Picking and preparing raw materialsAseptically compounding (mixing) sterile solutionsPacking of finished units for each order including final inspection of productsLabelling, inspecting, and dispatching of prepared productsEnsuring documentation is completed in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)Adhering to Baxter's Standard Operating ProceduresContribute to Baxter's full inclusion and diversity cultureAll required training, Uniforms/PPE providedNote: Training/orientation will require flexibility for approx. 3-5 months with shift times ranging between 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Essential skills & qualifications: Enjoy work that requires a high attention to detailBe comfortable working within a cleanroom environment (Compounding Technician) for most of your working dayBe highly productiveDemonstrate a good understanding of basic mathematicsCommunicate effectively both verbally and in writingBe flexible across shifts within the operational hoursExperience in pharmacy, manufacturing or warehousing would be an advantage but not necessaryTasks involve manual repetitive handling and dexterityPrevious manual compounding experience highly regardedThis role is subject to the following: A pre-employment medical including stringent vision screening (GMP requirement), background and reference checks.Meet Baxter's COVID 19 Vaccination policy – Fully Vaccination or a medical contraindication certificateMeet compliance and requirements for a mask fit testWhy Baxter?
