About The Role Maintain and review the compliance obligations management procedure against risk appetite and ensure it is being applied across the organisation.
Maintain and adhere to relevant legislative and regulatory requirements, including liaison with regulators, as required.
Document, support and monitor business compliance requirements including day-to-day operation of the compliance obligations management procedure.
Monitor and review compliance activities of other departments, including validation of attestations and internal controls.
Provide oversight of compliance incidents and/or breaches.
Assist the Risk & Compliance Manager in overseeing the ongoing operation of and adherence to the Risk and Compliance Framework.
Periodically assess the effectiveness of risk and compliance management across the entity, take appropriate steps to improve its effectiveness, and provide advice to the business in relation to the same.
Report to boards and executive management on compliance matters.
Educate and promote awareness of the entity's Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) system across functional stakeholders.
Act as the primary liaison officer between the entity and the GRC vendor to ensure the system is delivering the benefits and functionality as required.
Assist the Risk & Compliance Manager in providing support, training and advice to the executive and management to help them identify, develop and manage their risks, compliance obligations and internal audit actions.
Assist the Risk & Compliance Manager in the engagement of key business stakeholders, building relationships between the business and risk and compliance.
Collaborate with other business units to direct compliance issues to appropriate existing channels for investigation and resolution.
About You Working in a compliance management or related role for 5-7 years within a large and/or highly regulated organisation.
Experience in implementing a compliance management framework highly regarded along with Risk Management and/or Internal Audit experience.
Degree qualified with a major in accounting, business, risk management or commercial law.
Highly developed stakeholder management skills.
