Outstanding Rural Healthcare; leading our community to a healthy futureCompliance Officer - Part Time Fixed TermApplications Close 15th November 2024Compliance Officer24 hours per weekFixed Term until June 2025Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer, the Compliance Officer will manage the health service's legislative compliance framework. The Compliance Officer will advise and provide oversight on compliance issues relating to legislative compliance across the health service.The successful applicant must possess:Relevant tertiary qualification (degree in law is desirable but not essential) or equivalent experience in legislative compliance in a highly regulated environmentDemonstrated experience in providing high quality and timely advice to senior management and staff on legislative compliance matters and demonstrated ability to interpret legislative requirements and to advise on appropriate responsesDemonstrated ability to work individually or as a team member within strict timeframes and operate with a high level degree of independent judgement and initiative within broad guidelines.If you are interested in applying for the position of Compliance Officer, the appropriate position description is available on request by contacting the Human Resources Department (03) 5154 6651; email: ******.
