Compliance Officer
Let's talk about the opportunity
The purpose of this role is to ensure the compliance requirements of Commonwealth and State Acts that govern telecommunications interception and access, stored communications, surveillance devices, controlled operations and lawfully assumed identities.
This is a permanent, full-time position.
You will be paid an annual salary of $98,135 to $108,830, plus employer's contribution to superannuation (currently 11.5%) and annual leave loading (currently 17.5%).

Essential requirements
Candidates will be assessed against the following requirements:
Experience in the compliance requirements of Commonwealth and State Acts for telecommunications interception and access, stored communications, surveillance devices, controlled operations and lawfully assumed identities.
Experience in the administration of telecommunication interception and/or surveillance device systems and the ability to prepare audio and visual product is highly desirable.
Must have well developed organisational abilities, be able to prioritise work and communicate effectively with people of diverse background, occupation, and seniority, both internal and external to the Commission.
Must be an Australian Citizen and hold, or be eligible to obtain, an NV1 security clearance in line with the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework.
Employment is contingent upon the successful candidate having the ability to obtain an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) clearance at Negative Vetting 1.
