As our Compliance Officer, reporting to the Compliance Manager at The Star Sydney, you will support the line manager to ensure the company's operations are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements and partner with departments to proactively identify compliance issues and facilitate value added solutions.

A few of your responsibilities: Compliance Framework - Support the line manager in the implementation and maintenance of the compliance program and the achievement of corporate compliance strategies.Data Analysis - Analyse compliance data to identify trends and determine appropriate action required to address areas of concern.Training - Assist in the planning, development and delivery of training in relation to compliance and regulatory obligations.Code of Conduct - Ensure compliance with The Star Entertainment Group Code of Conduct, all internal policies and procedures and relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.Business Partnering – Build awareness and understanding of material compliance obligations to build a culture of strong personal accountability for compliance and risk.What we are looking for: Demonstrated ability in developing productive relationships and managing and driving change.Demonstrated project management skills and experience in analytical report writing and presentation preparation.Working knowledge of corporate compliance governance requirements.Knowledge of Australian Standard on Compliance programs (AS3806-2006).About you You are a self-driven individual with excellent collaboration and organisational skills. You are results and commercial orientated and have a passion for building trust and teamwork. You have strong negotiation and influencing skills and take a proactive approach to every task.
