About the roleWe have an opportunity for a Compliance Officer to be part of our Firearms Registry, Police Prosecutions and Licensing Enforcement Command. The Compliance Officer will assist Compliance and Enforcement Officers in ensuring that licence and approval holders meet their administrative, reporting, and compliance obligations in accordance with legislation and current policy. This role also supports liaising with external stakeholders and other police units regarding the effective identification and tracking of firearms.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Compliance Officer, assisting and supporting sworn Police. In this crucial role, you will contribute to mitigating identified risks related to various firearm compliance and enforcement issues.
The successful applicant must be willing and available to undertake travel throughout NSW as identified by the Manager of the unit.
