With a strong focus on compliance, they are looking to bring on a Compliance Manager to lead and elevate their compliance framework. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the business's compliance standards and practices.Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive reviews of each loan application before submission to ensure compliance standards are met.Verify, review, and accurately file all necessary information, notes, and documents in alignment with compliance requirements.Ensure that additional due diligence steps, like employment verification, are taken by obtaining employer letters, reviewing employer websites, or making direct contact for confirmation.Provide ongoing training and coaching to the team to strengthen compliance awareness and accountability.About You:You bring at least 2 years of compliance experience within a lending environment, ideally within a mortgage brokerage.You have a solid understanding of NCCP legislation and AML/CTF requirements.Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and implement process improvements within compliance.Comfortable leading compliance initiatives and overseeing all compliance-related matters.Skilled in educating and training team members on compliance requirements.Able to monitor regulatory changes and ensure the company's ongoing compliance.Must have full working rights in Australia with no limitations.Pragmatic, hard-working, and a great cultural fit within a team-focused environment.Other Benefits:You'll be joining a company that has gone from strength to strength and built a strong reputation for being customer-centric and placing high value on workplace culture.
