The role Crown Sydney has an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Coordinator, Regulatory to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Supporting the General Manager Compliance & Regulatory Affairs, this role will be responsible for supporting Crown Sydney's compliance with relevant obligations and regulatory requirements as well as assisting the broader Compliance & Regulatory Affairs team as required. This is a rare opportunity to join a critical business unit that is central to Crown Sydney's continued success and efforts to ensure controls, procedures and operational processes are effective and in-line with our obligations.
Please note that this role will require you to hold and maintain a Casino Special Employee Licence in NSW. Part of the pre-employment checks will include police and criminal history checks, as well as credit and global media checks. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist in the implementation and maintenance of Crown Resorts Group's Compliance Management Framework Manage employee licensing process and regulatory notifications Providing compliance advice to Crown business units (as appropriate) Providing inputs into materials and reports for regulatory meetings, Board Committees and senior executive leadership team Building and maintaining a working relationship with Liquor and Gaming NSW (L&GNSW) and other Crown properties Assist in preparation of regulatory submissions and applications for approval Manage Conflicts of Interest and Gifts, Tips and Gratuities process Manage internal policy changes including communications, embedment and regulatory notification Deliver mandatory compliance training and uplift business compliance awareness Continuously working towards maintenance of Crown's Casino Licence About you Demonstrated experience in similar role within a compliance related role or field Strong understanding of regulatory framework and legislation pertaining to liquor & gaming Working knowledge / experience in a casino or gaming environment will be highly regarded Excellent written and verbal communication, with research and report writing skills advantageous Ability to build rapport, influence and work collaboratively with various teams and departments Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced and high-scrutiny environment Has or is able to obtain all required Casino Employee Licenses What we offer you: Full-time, 12-month fixed term contract based in Crown's corporate office in Barangaroo Opportunity to work within a niche industry and contribute to Crown Sydney's compliance operations Experience to highly regulated work in a dynamic and evolving business Chance to learn, develop and work alongside experts in the regulatory & compliance field Complimentary meals at our on-site staff restaurant Generous discounts across Crown hotels and restaurants Australia wide Access to discounts with various corporate partners across insurance, health & wellbeing, fashion, banking & finance, technology and more Additional Information What you can expect from us On top of exciting career possibilities, we offer better exposure to experiences and learning.
