We are currently seeking experienced Compliance Business Partners to join our dynamic team and support our various business units.
About the role As a Compliance Business Partner to our commercial buying team, you will serve as a trusted advisor regarding laws and regulations relevant to the commercial business unit. This includes the Food and Grocery code of Conduct. You will work closely with stakeholders from across the business to strengthen our compliance processes, navigate our way through business decision making and drive continuous improvement.
What you will be doing Advise and support business units on competition law, risk, and compliance matters. Collaborate with stakeholders such as Legal and Risk to enhance compliance processes. Implement process improvements to ensure ongoing regulatory adherence. Provide guidance on the Food & Grocery Code of Conduct, and a broad range of other laws such as biosecurity, product safety, labelling and trade measurement. Assess emerging areas of regulatory risk and support the business unit in readiness for legislative changes. Manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication. Ideally you will have Proven experience in competition law, risk & compliance within legal and/or retail sectors. In-depth understanding of the Food & Grocery Code and related regulations. Proven experience in reviewing and improving key processes and controls. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams. What's in it for you?
