WorkPac is currently in search of a Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Officer to join our esteemed client's team, based in South Hedland. This position is permanent full-time with our client, Monday to Friday.
About our Client Our client is a dedicated Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service focused on providing holistic healthcare that meets the medical, social, and cultural needs of the Aboriginal community. Serving over 7,000 registered clients, they emphasize comprehensive primary care and wellbeing services, led by a team of experienced health professionals.
Duties and Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and evaluate the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) program.Coordinate CQI activities using the 'Plan Do Study Act' (PDSA) methodology, engaging stakeholders to ensure compliance and quality delivery.Provide education and training on CQI tools and methodologies to stakeholders.Prepare and submit accurate monthly reports on CQI activities to senior management.Maintain infection control policies and demonstrate leadership in infection control practices.Collaborate with senior managers and participate in team and organizational meetings to support successful outcomes.Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, minimizing risks and promoting a safe work environment.Skills and Experience: Demonstrated experience in primary health care management within the Not-for-Profit or Community Sector.Strong knowledge of clinical quality improvement principles and application in primary health care.Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and consultation skills for effective stakeholder engagement.Proven ability to develop and maintain clinical and organizational policies to meet best practice standards.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.Relevant clinical qualifications (e.g., Aboriginal Health Worker or Registered Nurse) beneficial.Have a meaningful impact on the Health and Wellbeing of the Aboriginal Community.How to Apply: Click on the Apply button or for more information please contact:
