Compliance and Quality Assurance Officer - NDIS ProgramsCompliance Officer – Shoalhaven Disability Support Services About Us:Interchange Shoalhaven is committed to empowering individuals to live life on their terms. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our team and ensure our services meet all regulatory standards.
The Role:This is an office-based role in the Shoalhaven. As a Compliance Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that Interchange Shoalhaven adheres to all relevant regulations, including NDIS and DCJ requirements. You will manage service agreements, oversee reporting requirements, and be responsible for maintaining high standards of service delivery. This position will report to the Participant Care Manager and operate under general direction as part of our supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework and DCJ standards.Manage and review participant service agreements, maintaining accurate outcome reports.Oversee reporting requirements, including NDIS and DCJ compliance, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.Convene panels for restrictive practices and collaborate with Behaviour Support Practitioners.Implement and monitor the Quality Improvement Framework to identify and mitigate compliance risks.Provide training and support to staff on compliance-related matters.About You:You are an organised, proactive professional with strong attention to detail and a passion for maintaining high standards of service delivery.
You possess:
Tertiary qualifications in Disability Studies, Community Services, Health Services Management, Law, or Compliance and Risk Management.Extensive experience in compliance roles within the disability or community services sector.Strong knowledge of NDIS regulations, DCJ requirements, and the Quality and Safeguarding Framework.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in writing reports and managing service agreements.Strong analytical skills for risk identification and quality improvement.What We Offer: Permanent, full-time position (38 hours per week)Office-based role in the beautiful Shoalhaven regionSupportive and collaborative team environmentOpportunity to make a meaningful impact in the communityReady to Apply?If you're passionate about compliance and have a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!
