Compliance and Quality Assurance Business PartnerA rare opportunity for a well-rounded Compliance & Quality Assurance Business Partner.
Reporting to the Director of Risk & Safety you will be responsible for establishing and delivering a compliance and governance framework across Newcastle Anglican. This position ensures that we as an organisation are compliant with relevant laws, regulations, industry standards and internal policies.
You will also examine, verify, evaluate and report on financial, operational and managerial processes, systems and outcomes to ensure financial and operational integrity and compliance, and assist in business process reviews, risk assessments, developing deliverables and reporting progress against outcomes.
This is a Full Time, Permanent vacancy and will be filled upon sourcing the best applicant.
Annual salary of $100,000 - $130,000

Work with the organisation to ensure effective implementation and ongoing adherence.Governance: Establish consistent reporting to the Board and Subcommittees.Prepare comprehensive compliance and risk management reports for the Board.Provide insights and recommendations on compliance issues and compliance risk mitigation strategies.Conduct risk assessments to identify, analyse, and evaluate compliance risks across NAC.Develop risk mitigation plans and support their effective implementation.Support risk management through involvement in the enterprise risk management processes for NAC, including identification, assessment, and response activities.About you: Tertiary qualification in Business or related fields, ideally with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a risk management, audit, or consulting role gained from working within a national organization.Demonstrated experience in a risk, compliance, and quality assurance function.Skilled in risk management and compliance, business operations, or professional services.Exposure to Governance Frameworks and interactions with Boards and Committees.Experience working across wide portfolios with multiple key stakeholders in a business partnering role.Who we are: Formerly known as the Anglican Diocese of Newcastle, Newcastle Anglican is a faith-based organisation serving the people of the Hunter and the Central Coast.
