Compliance Analyst

We have a permanent vacancy for a detail oriented and motivated professional to fill the role of Compliance Analyst within our casino.
Salary will be commensurate with experience for the right candidate.

You will work on compliance tasks under the direction of Executives, where key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Conducting compliance reviews, gathering information, maintenance of compliance records and reporting findings.
Conducting and reporting on various internal audit processes.
Monitoring internal audit frameworks for compliance related matters.
Project management of corrective works and implementation of new procedures as required.
Work with other departments to ensure compliance with and maintenance of a formal compliance framework.
Provide timely and accurate input to reports.
Assisting the Compliance Manager and Financial Controller with other compliance related and business functions and duties as required.
About you:
The ideal candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate the following skills/experience:
A strong analytical mind, with demonstrated experience in analytical tasks.
A strong focus on compliance and adherence to rules/regulations - experience in previous positions in other industries/roles must be demonstrated as transferrable to this position.
Demonstrated experience in advanced level use of Excel or other programs to undertake analytical work (i.e.
pivot tables, lookup functions, advanced formulas and the creation and use of other analytical tools).
Be a self-motivated person, able to work both collaboratively and independently.
An interest in AML/CTF related matters and the Australian legislative framework, with previous experience in direct application of AML/CTF regulations highly desirable, however demonstrated transferrable skills will be acceptable in the absence of direct AML/CTF experience.
A relevant or transferrable qualification is desirable, but not essential.
Keeping it above board - Eligibility criteria
You must have existing unrestricted rights to work in Australia.

You must also be eligible to obtain a Casino Employee Licence from the ACT Gambling and Racing Commission.
