Infinity Coordination & Supports is calling all energetic, compassionate individuals for an exciting role in a high physical & complex behaviour support in our supported independent living (SIL) environment.
The Role: As a Disability Support Worker, your mission will be to provide excellent care and assistance to the people we support.
Your responsibilities include administering medication, hoist transfers, wound care, catheter care, Behaviour Support and reporting for Restrictive Practices, personal support, and guidance to participants.

Skills and Experience (preferred, not required): While certifications, and previous experience is valued, a passion for life and a positive attitude are your greatest assets.
We provide full training and support for candidates who are a great fit for our team.
Complex behaviour support experience is desired.
Your Responsibilities: Completing clear, concise, and factual shift notes.
Providing support and assistance to our participants including behaviour support, personal care, assistance with daily living, and community access.
Guiding participants to explore and develop their personal interests and achieve goals.
Administering medication and abide by individual support plans.
Guidance and companionship.
Bring your own unique approach to life with an enthusiasm for fun.
Engaging participants in enjoyable activities.
Successful applicants will be: Passionate about providing participant-centered supports.
Able to work a variety of shift times.
Able to work independently and be a great team-player.
? Excellent communicators with the ability to liaise effectively with relevant parties.
In-depth knowledge of the NDIS and experienced in pursuing and achieving participant goals.
Well experienced in complex care environments.
Must be able to work regular sleepover shifts (inactive).
Committed to providing continuity of supports.
To be considered for the role, you will need to hold (or be willing to obtain): NDIS Worker Screening clearance.
Fully Vaccinated for COVID-19, including booster.
Hold a valid driver's license and have access to a reliable car with comprehensive motor vehicle insurance.
Cert III in Disability, Community services, Nursing, or equivalent (preferred).
Working with Children's Check.
First Aid certificate.
