Project Manager - Roads and Infrastructure We are recruiting for an exceptional Project Manager to lead and deliver major civil and roads projects.

This opportunity is poised to make a significant difference that will benefit Northern Rivers regional communities.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and inspire a multi-skilled team to deliver capital works and maintenance projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
Oversee safety leadership by implementing and enforcing safety protocols, managing risks, and fostering a safety-first culture.
Plan and allocate resources (budget, materials, personnel) to optimize project delivery and meet deadlines.
Coordinate daily operations and collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project success.
Ensure compliance with safety, procurement, and regulatory standards, including Workplace Health and Safety Act and National Heavy Vehicle Law.
Drive continuous improvement by adopting new practices and technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
About You:
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
Over 10 years' experience in transport infrastructure, maintenance, and construction supervision, with expertise in managing large-scale projects (>$3 million).
Proven leadership abilities, with experience mentoring teams and fostering a positive, high-performance culture.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to address challenges quickly and effectively.
Experience working with Transport for NSW road projects and knowledge of AUS-SPEC / NRLG specifications.
A commitment to safety, customer service, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Tertiary Qualifications, Civil Construction, Engineering, Management, or related field.
Current Class C Driver's License.
General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
Experience with Work Zone Traffic Management Plans (PWZTMP) is advantageous.
