About the Company AE Administrative Services, a boutique provider of end-to-end corporate secretarial, accounting administrative services, is seeking a Company Secretary or Assistant/Joint Company Secretary to join our high-performing team.
In this varied role, you'll be the go-to person for client company secretarial needs. You'll ensure seamless board and committee meetings, draft meticulous minutes, and provide expert advice on regulations, policies, and compliance.
About the Role As Company Secretary, you will be a primary contact for Board and Committee paper authors, managing the preparation and logistics of meetings. You will be responsible for delivering client-focused corporate governance support to a diverse portfolio of clients, predominantly ASX listed, with the support of a collaborative team.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Supporting Board paper preparation and logistics.
- Liaising with Board members and senior leadership.
- Attendance at Board & Committee meeting including technical setups.
- Maintaining accurate records and providing general administrative support
About You The ideal candidate will have:
a law/business/finance degree and are either pursuing or intend to pursue other tertiary governance qualificationsa deep understanding of the Corporations Act, ASIC regulations, ASX Listing Rules, and internal company requirements.Exceptional organisational and time management skills - prioritizing, managing multiple tasks with ease, and meeting deadlines consistently.Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities including the ability to prepare clear, concise minutes.High attention to detail An ability to handle confidential information with discretion.You prioritize exceptional customer service and take a proactive approach to relationship building.An ability to thrive in both independent and collaborative settings.Accounting experience advantageous but not essential Location Candidate may be Sydney or Adelaide-based.
