This position is based at our Sydney Support Office above Westfield Sydney.This critical role will be responsible for supporting the effectiveness of the Group's Board and Board Committees and governance arrangements. You will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders and provide support, not only to the Compliance & Secretariat team, but also to Group Treasury, Finance, Legal, Tax and Risk.Day-to-day you will be responsible for:Organising Board and Committee meetingsSupporting Board Directors as requiredAssisting with the preparation and distribution of Board and Committee papersAdministrative support and diary management for the General Counsel and Company Secretary, and Deputy General Counsel, Governance & SecretariatTechnical assistance in compliance e-questionnaires and reportingCoordination of the Annual General MeetingAssisting with the development and processing of corporate reports, policies, and proceduresRegulatory filings (ASX, ASIC)This role is a 12-month fixed term (full time) contract.What sets you apartWe are seeking a switched-on, enthusiastic person with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.You will have:Excellent technical skills including advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), experience with PDFDocs, Adobe Acrobat, Diligent, BWise, Concur and Converga.The ability to engage with and adapt to new technology and ways of working.Prior experience working in a similar role. Prior experience in an ASX listed company or professional services firm, or with financial services, managed investment schemes or the property industry, is an advantage.You will be:Collaborative – working alongside the General Counsel, Compliance & Secretariat to help support the day to day running of the business with administrative, compliance and secretarial work.Adaptable – no two days are the same and there are often conflicting priorities.
