As a Support Worker in our vibrant Tamworth Hub and Community Access division, you will play an essential role in supporting and empowering people with disability to live a life of their choosing.
Working in both a team environment and independently, you will provide a range of services assisting clients to live independently, be actively involved in their local community, and engaged in meaningful opportunities.
As a Support worker in our day program, your key focuses will be: Community Integration: Supporting clients to live an active lifestyle and participate in their community through the delivery of a range of person-centred programs Life skills: Bring your supportive attitude to help build capacity for our clients in an area that are passionate about Personal Care: Assist and support clients with personal and hygiene care Behaviour Plans: Adapt to clients individual needs, this could be working with behaviour support plans by utilising positive behaviour strategies Family Interaction: Communication with families about clients' progress Transport: Driving clients to and from our day programs, in our Sunnyfield van Admin Tasks: Maintenance of progress notes and record-keeping About You You are passionate about making a difference!

You will demonstrate the ability to engage, communicate and build partnerships with people.
Experience in the Disability sector is a must.
Demonstrated knowledge of supporting high needs clients and/or clients with behaviours of concern Ability to support others with personal and hygiene care and happy for this to be part of your job.
