Join a reputable organisation with career development pathways Melbourne or Sydney office locations $120,000 - $140,000 + super + incentives Phillip Riley has partnered with a local onshore renewables project developer in its search for a Community and Stakeholder Engagement Advisor to join its Community and Stakeholder Engagement team.
Reporting to the Stakeholder Engagement Manager, you will be embedded into development project teams to support the development and delivery of stakeholder engagement and benefit sharing plans.
About the Role Day-to-day responsibilities of the role will include: Development and implementation of community and stakeholder engagement plans for renewable energy projects across Australia in development, delivery, and operations phases; Representation of the business within the community and to stakeholders to build and maintain positive reputation; Management of social risk for projects and effective collaboration with colleagues to streamline project development and delivery processes from a stakeholder perspective; Contribution to corporate communications activities, e.g.
political engagements, press releases, sponsorship, and branding; Regular travel to regional and interstate project sites.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and experience: Tertiary-level qualifications in a relevant discipline; 3-8 years of stakeholder engagement and communications experience in the renewable energy, infrastructure, or construction sectors (required), 2+ years of renewable energy project experience (preferred); Understanding of IAP2 engagement frameworks and techniques; Appropriate attitude and approach to rurual and regional community engagement; Appreciation of the challenges and opportunities involved in delivering energy or major infrastructure projects; Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team and collaborate with internal SMEs; Confident self-starter with the ability to work independently as required; Valid driver's license and full Australian work rights (required).
