Community Assistance and Temporary Supports (CATS) Program Officer About the role The Community Assistance and Temporary Supports (CATS) Program empowers participants to achieve their health and wellbeing goals and improve their overall quality of life through timely and effective support services that meet their individual needs. CS is recruiting for a Canberra-based Program Officer who is highly skilled in the delivery of care coordination and bridging supports to join our Community Services Team. As a CATS Program Officer: You are accomplished in quickly building rapport with people, including over the phone. You will have demonstrated well-developed skills in person-centred, case management principles and a commitment to supporting vulnerable and complex participants with diverse cultural, emotional, social and health needs. Your knowledge of the ACT community, health, aged care, and disability sectors will ensure that CATS participants are linked into services and supports in a timely manner and are supported to transition to more appropriate and ongoing supports as needed. We are really interested in CATS Program Officers who have expertise around supporting participants through the bridging supports process, so demonstrated sound knowledge and experience around the NDIS application process will be highly valued. The CATS Program Officer role is: Full Time (76 hours per fortnight) Social Community Home Care and Disability Services Award Level 4 Hourly Rate - $43.08-$46.35 commensurate with qualifications and experience, plus 11.5% superannuation What are the benefits of working for CS?
