Community Programs Advisor Be the driving force behind impactful programs that make WA roads safer. Are you passionate about creating safer communities and making a positive difference? Join RAC as a Community Programs Advisor and play a pivotal role in developing and delivering road safety programs that benefit RAC members and the WA community.
This role will place you at the forefront of innovative, engaging initiatives that support safe driving practices and empower participants to navigate the WA licensing system with confidence.
About the Role: As the Community Programs Advisor, you will coordinate impactful "Learn to Drive" and driver training programs, identify community needs, and support initiatives that foster safer driving behaviours. You'll collaborate with RAC's youth engagement, partnerships, marketing and communications teams to ensure maximum outreach and impact, continually evaluating programs to keep them relevant and effective.
Key Responsibilities: Design and deliver educational programs that meet community needs, specifically in learner driver and ongoing driver education. Increase awareness of RAC's driver training programs through strategic partnerships and stakeholder engagement. Ensure community programs and workshops are facilitated in line with best practice standards. Collaborate with third parties and ensure all community programs adhere to best practices and RAC standards. Monitor program performance, conduct evaluations, and make data-driven adjustments for ongoing improvement. What we are looking for: Experience: Proven background in program development, stakeholder management, and community engagement. Behaviour Change experience is highly desirable. Skills: Strong communication abilities, adaptability, and a proactive approach to planning and executing programs. Knowledge of the WA Licencing system is desirable. Passion: A commitment to road safety and a deep-seated desire to contribute to RAC's purpose of driving positive community outcomes. Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications in health promotion, social impact, or similar fields is desirable.
