Position: Community Engagement Coordinator

The Opportunity Join our thriving community health care organisation as the Community Engagement Coordinator at Trentwood at the Hub. Work closely with the Neighbourhood House Coordinator to develop the community house as a welcoming and inclusive space that provides programs and events to meet the needs of the local community and encourage participation.
About the Role This position will play a key role in developing and promoting an engaging program of activities and events that appeal to the local community. The role will work closely with the Community House Coordinator to develop promotional material including brochures, website updates, and social media posts.
What You Will Be Doing Support the Neighbourhood House Coordinator to ensure the successful delivery of the Neighbourhood House programs and operations Develop a program of events and workshops that respond to community needs Identify and apply for grants to support new activities and projects Develop and implement a marketing plan for the community house What You Will Bring Key Selection Criteria Minimum of 3 years' experience in an administrative role at a community organisation or a tertiary qualification in community development Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong marketing and/or promotions experience including social media Well-developed presentation and report writing skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software applications Attributes Effective time management and prioritisation skills Strong project management skills Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment High level of cultural sensitivity and awareness Demonstrated ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds Behaviours consistent with AccessHC values Access Health and Community Culture and Benefits At AccessHC, we offer a fulfilling career and an environment where you can thrive in a culture of collaboration and support.
