Position: Community Engagement Coordinator

The Opportunity Join our thriving community health care organisation as the Community Engagement Coordinator at Trentwood at the Hub.
Work closely with the Neighbourhood House Coordinator to develop the community house as a welcoming and inclusive space that provides programs and events to meet the needs of the local community and encourage participation.
About the Role This position will play a key role in developing and promoting an engaging program of activities and events that appeal to the local community.
The role will work closely with the Community House Coordinator to develop promotional material including brochures, website updates, and social media posts.
What You Will Be Doing Support the Neighbourhood House Coordinator to ensure the successful delivery of the Neighbourhood House programs and operationsDevelop a program of events and workshops that respond to community needsIdentify and apply for grants to support new activities and projectsDevelop and implement a marketing plan for the community houseWhat You Will Bring Key Selection Criteria Minimum of 3 years' experience in an administrative role at a community organisation or a tertiary qualification in community developmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong marketing and/or promotions experience including social mediaWell-developed presentation and report writing skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software applicationsAttributes Effective time management and prioritisation skillsStrong project management skillsDemonstrated ability to work in a team environmentHigh level of cultural sensitivity and awarenessDemonstrated ability to relate to people from diverse backgroundsBehaviours consistent with AccessHC valuesAccess Health and Community Culture and Benefits At AccessHC, we offer a fulfilling career and an environment where you can thrive in a culture of collaboration and support.
