What You'll Do: Pilbara Meta Maya is looking for a full-time Community Maintenance and General Labour Officer based in Meekatharra, WA.
These roles are essential in ensuring that municipal services are efficiently and effectively delivered to remote Aboriginal communities.
Maintain community areas, including cutting back shrubs and vegetation Assist with dust control and inspect power and water facilities Perform routine checks and maintenance on airstrips, vehicles, and trailers Keep community spaces clean and safe by collecting rubbish and maintaining landfill areas Provide inspection reports to your supervisor and help keep everything running smoothly To read the full position description, please click here.
This position involves working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. What We're Looking For: A valid manual C-class driver's licence (essential) Basic knowledge of safety procedures Physically fit and able to work outdoors in hot weather Willingness to travel between remote communities First Aid certification or willingness to obtain Previous experience in facilities, maintenance, labouring, warehousing, cleaning, gardening, driving, factory work, groundskeeping, or infrastructure will make you a perfect candidate for this position.
