In this role, you will play a key part in cultivating and maintaining relationships with the Heart Foundation's most passionate fundraisers across the country, including individuals and corporates. You will focus on managing these relationships and acquiring new supporters for the primary community fundraising programs within Community Fundraising.You will prioritize income generation to meet the KPIs and targets, with an emphasis on acquiring, retaining, and growing our supporter base. Success in this role requires strong account management and organizational skills.ResponsibilitiesDevelop strong relationships with prospective, new, and existing fundraisers and support them to reach (and exceed) their fundraising goals, including individuals, workplaces, and community groups.Identify and acquire new fundraisers in the community.Maintain communication with all fundraisers as per the fundraiser communications journey, including calls, emails, personalized videos, SMS, face-to-face visits, and presentations.Implement and contribute to fundraising activities for all community fundraising campaigns as required to drive fundraising results.Maintain accurate and timely records of fundraisers and events in the database.Review and undertake all related compliance for Community Fundraising programs, including due diligence associated with third-party community fundraising activities and accurate processing and management of Authority to Fundraise documentation.Act in accordance with the Heart Foundation's values and consistently demonstrate the agreed organizational behaviors, including a commitment to community and volunteer engagement and diversity and inclusion principles.Undertake other duties or responsibilities, as directed, within the scope of this role and consistent with skills, qualifications, and experience, as may be required from time to time.Let's Talk About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Demonstrated relationship management experience, with income generation success.Fundraising experience supporting high-value fundraisers - influential individuals, community groups, and corporates – to exceed their fundraising goals.Experience in both warm and cold sales techniques to generate new business.Confidence to manage relationships with all external partners and fundraisers across a range of channels, including face-to-face, phone, SMS, email, and personalized video.Experience in analyzing customer/donor lists and prioritizing contact.Demonstrated time management, administrative, and organizational skills.Clear written and excellent verbal communication skills to collaborate and negotiate.Demonstrated ability to work productively both autonomously and as a member of a team.Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams, as well as a good understanding of SharePoint, Teams, Raisers Edge/NXT, or similar Customer Relationship Management database experience.Ready to Apply?To apply, please submit a CV and covering letter that addresses the essential requirements by clicking the apply now button below.
