Community Development Coordinator Glamorgan Spring Bay Council has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Community Development Coordinator to join their team, based in Triabunna, Tasmania.

The Role: Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of projects, programs, and events to promote and build resilient and engaged communities in Glamorgan Spring Bay.
You will be responsible for:
Developing, implementing, and maintaining Council's Community Development annual plan to ensure alignment with and delivery of Council's strategic plan, reporting to Council as requested on progress. Overseeing Council's marketing, media liaison, internal and external communications, and brand management. Identifying and developing opportunities for Arts and Culture programs and community events across Glamorgan Spring Bay Council area with stakeholders and in accordance with approved strategies and programs. Identifying, upskilling, and celebrating volunteers across the Glamorgan Spring Bay Council area. Overseeing the community small grants program and policy and assisting in the preparation of grant applications for programs, services, and community events undertaking research as required. About You: To be considered for the role, you will need a relevant tertiary qualification coupled with at least five years in a similar role or significant industry experience. You will also need a current driver's licence and commitment to maintaining this, as well as a current Working with Vulnerable People Registration.
