We live our values of Respect, Accountability, Collaboration and Helpfulness.The role:As the Community Development Coordinator, you will work within one of our seven Community Centres/Hubs within the City of Salisbury. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, overseeing volunteers assisting in the space while maximizing the use of Council's neighbourhood facilities as centres for building local community capacity and collaborating with community partners. You will work within the Neighbourhood Development team to deliver a range of innovative and sustainable neighbourhood development initiatives both within the community centres/Hubs across the City of Salisbury and within neighbourhoods responding to the opportunities, strengths and needs identified by residents and city users. Central to this role is developing and building strong connections within the community and developing collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders that deliver social impact to the community of Salisbury. This position will also play an important role in the delivery of strategic initiatives aligned with Council's community development agendas particularly around wellbeing and neighbourhood development.
