In a supportive and collaborative environment, you will encounter interesting professional challenges and you will work alongside dedicated and passionate people who help to turn around the lives of offenders and rebuild lives affected by crime.DutiesThe incumbent is responsible for the case management of adult offenders placed on probation, parole, pre-parole, pre-bond, bail, home detention or community service orders and the provision of a service to Courts, Sentence Management Unit and the Parole Board in order to assist offenders to adopt a non-offending lifestyle. The incumbent will provide a case management service to offenders and their families through a range of programs and activities and is expected to contribute to the planning and development of best practice, and the achievement of Regional and team goals.Special ConditionsSection 47 of the Public Sector Act 2009 applies in accordance with other provisions of the act and other applicable industrial entitlements.The incumbent is required to satisfactorily complete a National Criminal History Check.A current South Australian Driver's Licence is essential.A flexible approach to working hours is required.Some interstate and intrastate travel will be required which may necessitate overnight absences.RequirementsEssential:AHP2: A degree level qualification in Social Work leading to eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.PO2: Appropriate tertiary qualifications in community services, sociology, criminology, justice, correctional practice, social sciences, human services, health or related field.RemunerationAHP2 ($88,255 - $102,240 pa)PO2 ($88,255 - $97,667 pa)EnquiriesMs Miriam Chapman A/Area Manager, North East Community Correctional Centre Application InstructionsAll applications must be submitted online via I Work for SA.
