About the Role:The Senior Compliance Officer provides professional advice and services to deliver a native vegetation compliance program in South Australia. The role requires the ability to develop and maintain effective partnerships both within and outside the Agency to coordinate and resolve discrete compliance-focussed projects and tasks to inform planning, implementation and management. In particular, the role will assist with the review, triaging, assessment, management and resolution of unauthorised native vegetation clearance reports and contribute to education and awareness activities of landholders and the community with respect to native vegetation obligations.

Essential Qualifications:A degree in environmental science, ecology, conservation or a related natural resources management discipline.
Special Conditions:
May be required to participate in fire management or associated duties.
A current Class C driver's licence is essential, with a willingness to undertake four-wheel driver training.
May be required to undertake intra or interstate travel, involving occasional overnight absences and work outside of the normal hours of duty.
This role has been designated as a Position of Trust pursuant to the standards required in the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework. By applying for this role you consent to being screened under the process of obtaining a National Police Clearance (NPC) and to the Department requiring you to obtain a NPC.
Remuneration:PO3, $101,285 min - $107,078 max p.a.
